Job Summary:Commi II is responsible for performing a variety of kitchen tasks, includingfood preparation and cooking, while working closely with the Chef de Partie.Key Responsibilities:o Assist in preparing dishes by following recipes and instructions from theChef de Partie.o Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.o Ensure proper storage of ingredients and manage stock rotation (FIFOmethod).o Monitor portion control and minimize wastage.o Assist with training Commi III and new kitchen staff.o Handle and prepare food with a focus on quality and consistency.Qualifications:o 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen.o Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards.o Ability to work in a team and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
