Assist the Bakery Head Chef and in daily bakery operations
Prepare bakery items as per recipes, baking methods, and quality standards
Handle preparation of doughs, batters, fillings, creams.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in all work areas
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and stock rotation practices
Monitor baking times, temperatures, and equipment usage
Support production planning and manage workload during rush hours
Safely operate and maintain bakery equipment and tools
Guide and support trainees when required
Coordinate with the Head Chef to ensure smooth and timely bakery production
Requirements
Good knowledge of bakery production and food preparation techniques
Experience as a Commis 2 or 3 in a bakery or pastry kitchen
Strong understanding of hygiene, food safety, and quality standards
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take responsibility
Team player with good communication and a positive attitude
Flexibility to assist in any bakery-related task as required
