Key Responsibilities:
Assist in daily food preparation as per chef's instructions
Prepare basic ingredients (vegetables, sauces, marinades, garnishes)
Follow standardized recipes and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations
Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items (FIFO method)
Support senior chefs during service hours
Handle kitchen equipment safely and correctly
Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI norms)
Minimize food wastage and report shortages or spoilage
Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations
Understanding of food hygiene and safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and take instructions
Physically fit to stand for long hours
