Washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting vegetables, fruits, and meats; preparing basic dishes like salads and sauces; and measuring and seasoning ingredients accurately.
Cooking:
Cooking and preparing components of dishes as directed by senior chefs, often assisting the Chef de Partie at a specific station.
Assisting other chefs:
Supporting other members of the kitchen team, which can include helping with meal plating and presentation.
Kitchen and hygiene:
Keeping the kitchen, equipment, and their own workstation clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
