Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of chocolate products including bonbons, pralines, truffles, bars, and molded chocolates.
Support tempering, molding, enrobing, and filling tasks under the guidance of senior chefs.
Follow recipes and production guidelines while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Handle chocolate ingredients and equipment with care, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage.
Help with daily mise en place and cleaning schedules for the chocolate station.
Stay updated with kitchen SOPs and assist in inventory checks for chocolate supplies.
Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming as per kitchen standards.
Requirements & Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a chocolate/pastry kitchen or confectionery production.
Basic understanding of chocolate handling, tempering, and flavour pairing.
Eagerness to learn advanced chocolate techniques and improve efficiency.
Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of HACCP and basic food safety norms is a plus.
Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts / Pastry / Confectionery is preferred.
Work Environment:
Temperature-controlled chocolate room or pastry kitchen.
Fast-paced setting requiring attention to detail and multitasking.
