Job Description

Responsible for preparing and cooking bulk meals in an industrial kitchen setup. Handles food preparation, portion control, and meal service as per catering schedules. Ensures hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards (FSSAI). Operates industrial kitchen equipment, assists in packing/serving food, and supports overall catering operations to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare and cook food for large batches according to standard recipes. Assist in cutting, chopping, cleaning, and seasoning raw materials. Maintain taste, portion size, and quality as per menu and client specifications. Handle bulk cooking equipment such as steam kettles, boilers, fryers, tandoor, and ovens. Set up food counters for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Serve food to employees/guests following portion control guidelines. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen and service areas. Follow

FSSAI hygiene standards

and internal SOPs. Work with cooks, helpers, service staff, and supervisors as a team. Follow instructions from Catering Manager or Chef.

Skills & Competencies



Bulk cooking experience (preferable). Knowledge of industrial kitchen & catering operations. Familiarity with FSSAI hygiene and safety norms.

Qualifications & Experience



Minimum:

10th / 12th Pass

Preferred:

Diploma in Hotel Management / Catering Technology 0-1 year - Asst. Cook 1-3 years - Commis/Cook 3-6 years - Industrial Cook 5+ years - CDP
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
