The Commis III will assist in the daily food production activities at the central kitchen, supporting the preparation of semi-finished and finished products for all outlets and cloud kitchens. The role involves maintaining hygiene standards, following recipes and SOPs, and ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in pre-preparation of ingredients -- washing, chopping, marinating, portioning, and labeling as per production requirements.
Support in batch cooking and bulk food production under the guidance of Commis I / II or Production Chef.
Follow standard recipes and ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all batches.
Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in the production area at all times.
Properly store and label raw materials, semi-prepared, and finished food as per FIFO guidelines.
Clean workstations, utensils, equipment, and ensure the area is ready for the next production cycle.
Assist in receiving raw materials, checking quality, and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
Adhere to all food safety, quality, and hygiene protocols (FSSAI standards).
Follow shift schedules, production timelines, and coordinate with the packing and dispatch teams.
Report any equipment issues, stock shortages, or quality concerns immediately to the production in-charge.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum education: 10th Pass (Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred).
0-1 year of experience in a central kitchen, cloud kitchen, or QSR setup preferred.
Basic knowledge of food preparation, handling, and hygiene standards.
Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, and maintain consistency in output.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a high-volume production environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Work Schedule:
Duty Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Weekly Off: As per company policy
Additional Notes:
Expected to maintain discipline, hygiene, and punctuality.
Should be flexible to assist other kitchen sections as needed during high production periods.
