Assist in preparing a wide variety of Indian sweets and desserts (e.g., Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Barfi, Ladoo, Jalebi, Halwa, etc.).
Support in making traditional Indian snacks (e.g., samosa, kachori, pakora) as required.
Follow recipes, measurements, and cooking techniques under supervision.
Prepare ingredients and mise-en-place for the day's production.
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and appearance of items produced.
Maintain proper storage and labeling of sweets and ingredients.
Ensure the workstation, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
Assist in deep-frying, roasting, and boiling tasks as per recipe requirements.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards (as per HACCP or hotel SOPs).
Coordinate with other sections (main kitchen, bakery, cold kitchen) as required.
Report any inventory shortages, equipment faults, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
Assist in managing leftover items and reducing food waste.
