Prepare, bake, and finish bakery items such as bread, pastries, cookies, cakes, and desserts as per recipes and SOPs.
Assist in new recipe trials and product development.
Ensure uniformity in taste, texture, and presentation of bakery products.
Unit Operations
Manage daily bakery operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely production.
Monitor ingredient stock levels; report shortages to the Purchase/Store team.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery unit.
Quality & Hygiene
Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI norms, HACCP guidelines).
Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished goods.
Conduct regular checks to minimize wastage and maintain cost efficiency.
Team Support
Supervise and guide junior staff/Commis II & III in bakery tasks.
Work in coordination with kitchen and cafe teams for order fulfillment.
Compliance & Reporting
Maintain baking logs, production sheets, and wastage reports.
Adhere to company SOPs and audit requirements.
