Portioning ingredients accurately
Assembling dishes as directed by senior chefs
Stock Management:
Monitoring ingredient levels and restocking as needed
Rotating stock to ensure freshness
Assisting with inventory checks
Hygiene and Sanitation:
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
Following proper food handling and safety procedures
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment
Communication and Teamwork:
Following instructions from senior chefs
Reporting any issues or concerns to the chef de partie
Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Learning and Development:
Actively learning new cooking techniques and recipes
Participating in training sessions and demonstrations
