Follow recipes, portion controls, plating and presentation standards for the continental station.
Prepare mise-en-place: wash, peel, chop, measure ingredients; prepare basic sauces, garnishes and accompaniments. Betterteam+1
Receive, unpack and check deliveries (ingredients relevant to continental station), monitor stock levels, report shortages or spoilage. Expertia+1
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safe work practices in the section: clean work-stations, ensure correct food storage, abide by health & safety regulations. Expertia+1
Assist senior chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations: help with closing/opening of station, support other kitchen segments when needed.
Demonstrate willingness to learn and apply new techniques and tasks in continental cuisine environment.
