Commis Chef (Tandoor)

who has to be responsible for preparing and cooking tandoori dishes, such as marinated meats, bread, and vegetables, according to recipes and quality standards. This role involves preparing ingredients, operating the tandoor oven, ensuring the station's cleanliness and hygiene, and collaborating with senior chefs to maintain a high-quality culinary experience. Key duties also include managing inventory, monitoring food safety, and adhering to company standards for consistency and presentation.

Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad.

Job Timings:

11 a.m to 9 p.m.

Key Responsibilities



Tandoor Cooking:

Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori items, including meats, breads, and vegetables, using traditional Indian techniques.

Marination:

Marinate various ingredients with traditional Indian spices and marinades to prepare them for cooking.

Station Management:

Ensure the tandoor station is clean, organized, and fully stocked with ingredients and necessary supplies.

Mise en Place:

Assist in the preparation and organization of ingredients and tools required for the tandoor station,

Food Safety & Hygiene:

Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining the highest hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Quality Control:

Ensure all dishes meet the established quality standards and presentation guidelines of the restaurant.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage the inventory of tandoori ingredients, notifying supervisors of low stock.

Collaboration:

Work closely with senior chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications & Skills



Experience:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or formal culinary training is beneficial.

Tandoor Knowledge:

Basic knowledge of tandoori cooking techniques and Indian cuisine is preferred.

Hygiene Standards:

A strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Teamwork:

The ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a kitchen team.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.

Fast-Paced Environment:

The capacity to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced kitchen setting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
