Urgent Opening at Independence Brewing Company at Versova, Andheri, Mumbai.



Ensure section is well stocked and prepared for the day / shift and all required mis-en-place is done

Ensure the order called out is properly understood and prepared as per the standard recipe, method and in the proper time as directed

Ensure FIFO method is adhered to for production and storage

Ensure proper portion control methods are followed and there is no unwanted wastage or spoilage

Ensure coordination and teamwork within sections and the rest of the teams at all times.

Ensure proper hygiene is maintained in section - utensils and table tops are clean, equipment is clean etc.

Inform the required authorities about special requirements and update regarding spoilages / wastages etc.

Ensure the prepared or semi prepared products are in line with the standards laid out.

Conduct stock-take daily/weekly as instructed.

Ensure the material being received from the vendor / stores is of the right quality and specification as directed

Effective co-ordination and management of all kitchen related activities

Ensure wastages are kept to a minimum.

Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment/tools/appliances to the reporting authorities and follow up and ensure that necessary work has been carried out.

Support everyone concerned in food production

Assist kitchen staff in maintaining high cuisine standards

Help in the development of menus as instructed

Help in making requisitions for food on system

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists as instructed

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing items before use.

Safely and appropriately use tools/equipment/appliances to prepare food.

Wash and disinfect kitchen area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.

Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift.

To work as directed on station of assignment under appropriate manager/s.

Notify appropriate authorities of any problems or complaints as when they arise.

Do not leave your section without doing the final check.

All food items for storage must be covered, dated and labelled according the checklist.

After service switch off and clean work areas as well as surfaces.

Ensure temperature checks are carried out and recorded at all times as directed.

Assist in the service of food and beverages on counter if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
