Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and production of menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
Ensure that food preparation areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment.
Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Work collaboratively with other members of the culinary team to coordinate cooking times and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Continuously strive to improve your culinary skills and knowledge through training, practice, and feedback from senior chefs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from senior chefs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding high standards of quality and consistency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
