. The Commis will assist in preparing and cooking Chinese and Continental dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of Chinese and Continental cuisine as per standard recipes.
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, sauces, and marinades.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen as per FSSAI guidelines.
Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
Follow food safety, health, and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in stock handling, storage, and minimizing wastage.
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely service during peak cinema hours.
Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of Chinese and Continental cuisine
Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred
0-2 years of experience as a Commis or similar role
Freshers with relevant training can also apply
