Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and production of ingredients under the supervision of senior chefs.
Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, peeling, and cutting vegetables and meats.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas.
Follow kitchen protocols, food safety standards, and hygiene regulations.
Store food items properly and label them accurately.
Support the team in setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
Assist in receiving and checking deliveries.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Formal culinary training is a plus.
0-1 year of kitchen or food preparation experience.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field.
Working Conditions:
Exposure to hot surfaces, sharp tools, and busy kitchen environment.
Standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
Shift work including weekends and holidays may be required.
