: Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items under the supervision of senior chefs. Ensure all bakery operations are conducted in line with quality and hygiene standards, supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products as per standard recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery work area and equipment.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) at all times.
Measure ingredients accurately and prepare dough, batters, and fillings as directed.
Support the team during peak service periods and help in setting up displays.
Assist in receiving and properly storing bakery supplies and raw materials.
Minimize wastage by proper storage and usage of products.
Report equipment issues or shortages to the supervisor.
Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chef.
Maintain a positive attitude and cooperate with all kitchen team members.
