Job Description

Himalayan Resorts Private Limited is looking for 02 Commi 1st for Indian and Multi Cuisine. The Individual must be able to prepare Indian dishes. Preference will be given to individuals who are able to also make South Indian and Chinese when needed. Must be trained to maintain cleanliness of workstation, follow hygiene protocols, and learn from seniors to execute consistent quality and portion sizes.

Required Qualifications

Basic culinary training or diploma with 1-2 years' experience as Commi 1 or kitchen steward in Indian-focused kitchens.

Hands-on knowledge of Indian cooking techniques; added advantage for South Indian fermentation and Chinese wok skills.

Food safety awareness (e.g., basic FSSAI or hygiene certification).

Essential Skills

Speed and accuracy in vegetable prep, basic cooking, and plating.

Team player attitude with eagerness to learn multi-cuisine elements.

Physical stamina for long shifts in a high-volume setup

Ability to work in Cold Climatic Conditions

Contractual/Permanent

We have posted for a Contractual Job, however we are open to exploring a permanent chef, if the skillsets are good and the individual is able to perform in the 1st 5 months of the season.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
