Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds vegetables and fruits.
Cleans, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry, and seafood.
Dips food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them.
Stirs and strains soups and sauces.
Prepares and mixes required batters/dough's for bakery and pastry.
Handles finishing of products as per the guidance of reporting head.
Executing additional tasks as assigned by reporting head which are in tune with his field of expertise.
Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
Stores foods in designated areas as per ISO norms.
Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils, segregates and removes garbage as per ISO norms.
Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Carves various cooked meats.
Assists in quality control of items.
Minimises wastage and immediately reports wastage on a daily basis to reporting head
Maintains work area, walk in chiller/ freezer and general upkeep of the equipment in his area
