Maintain proper temperature and fire for consistent cooking.
Understand different tandoor techniques for meats, breads, and vegetables.

Food Preparation:
Marinate meats, poultry, and seafood with appropriate spices and yogurts as per recipe standards.
Prepare doughs and batters for tandoori breads like naan, roti, kulcha, and paratha.
Skewer and grill kebabs, tikkas, and other tandoori items.

Cooking & Presentation:
Cook food to order and ensure all items are cooked and presented to standard.
Ensure portion control and minimize waste.
Plate dishes attractively and in accordance with presentation guidelines.
4.
Hygiene & Safety:
Maintain cleanliness of the tandoor station and all related equipment.
Follow HACCP and food safety guidelines.
Ensure all meats are cooked to safe temperatures.
5.
Inventory & Stock:
Assist in receiving, rotating, and storing supplies correctly.
Inform superiors about stock levels and any shortages.
6.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
Assist other commis chefs or kitchen staff as needed.
Follow instructions from senior chefs and supervisors.
7.
Learning & Development:
Continuously improve skills in tandoor cooking and general culinary techniques.
Participate in training sessions and briefings.
Key Skills Required:
Knowledge of Indian and tandoori cuisine.
Experience in operating a tandoor oven.
Understanding of marination techniques and spice blends.
Speed, precision, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
