Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
Assist the Pastry Chef in daily production planning and execution.
Decorate and finish cakes, pastries, and desserts attractively.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the pastry kitchen.
Follow standard recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency.
Monitor inventory and report shortages to the senior chef.
Comply with food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI).
Support other team members and help train junior staff when required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in pastry or bakery production.
Knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, and dessert presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong attention to detail and creativity in dessert plating.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education: Diploma or Certification in Bakery & Confectionery preferred.
