Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes in accordance with the standardised recipes and guidelines provided. Ensure that all ingredients are properly measured, weighed, and prepared for cooking. Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all hygiene and sanitation standards. Assist in the mise en place and stock rotation to ensure timely availability of ingredients and minimize wastage. Follow food safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safe handling, storage, and preparation of food items. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely service during busy periods. Monitor and control the quality of food items prepared to meet the established standards of taste, presentation, and portion size. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment. Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including dishwashing and equipment cleaning. Requirements Minimum of 6 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment. Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other kitchen staff. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
