Key Responsibilities



1. Food Preparation & Cooking



Assist in preparing and cooking continental dishes as per menu and standard recipes. Ensure consistency, taste, and quality in food preparation and presentation. Support in garnishing, plating, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes. Maintain correct cooking techniques, portion control, and adherence to quality standards.

2. Kitchen Organization & Cleanliness



Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment in line with hygiene and safety regulations. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food ingredients following food safety standards. Assist in daily cleaning and sanitizing of utensils, tools, and surfaces.

3. Stock Management & Ingredient Preparation



Prepare ingredients for daily operations (e.g., chopping vegetables, marinating meats, making sauces). Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef. Follow food safety and hygiene protocols consistently.

4. Team Collaboration



Work closely with the Chef de Partie and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively and assist colleagues during busy hours. Attend daily briefings and follow directions from senior chefs.

5. Learning & Skill Development



Show enthusiasm for learning new continental cooking techniques. Observe and assist senior chefs to gain practical experience. Continuously strive to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

6. Quality Control & Standards



Ensure dishes are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards. Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Immediately report any quality issues to senior kitchen staff.

Requirements:



Prior experience in a continental kitchen preferred (Commis I / II / III level). Strong passion for food and cooking. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
