Overview Reporting to the Sub-Regional Lead and North American CEO, the Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the organization\'s sales, marketing, and operations strategy with the goal to achieve full operational control and sustainable growth. The position is a critical leadership role and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team charged with helping to grow the business substantially, understanding and co-developing the business strategy and providing leadership and coordination of the company\'s sales, marketing, and operations planning. Through proactive and regular activity, the Director will be effective in increasing the valuation of the company, driving revenue and margin growth. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the organization\'s marketing, sales, and operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. Refine and manage the sales and marketing functions, ensuring department employees, sales plans, marketing, and operational strategies are organized to achieve revenue, margin, and brand goals. Hire, develop, motivate, and evaluate performance of sales and marketing staff according to company procedures, policy, and employment law. Create and manage sales and marketing department budgets. Assign territories, set and achieve sales goals and quotas. Develop, track, and report on key financial measurements that involve monthly/quarterly/annual targets. Lead market research to help to shape and refine new opportunities for organic and inorganic growth. Develop marketing plans and offer expert advice for promotional events, advertising campaigns, and PR activities. Supply market input and data to help shape the product portfolio, experimental advancement, and pricing in a timely and consistent manner. Approximately 25-35% travel and customer visits required as needed and strategically planned for efficient impact. Requirements: Agribusiness Leader who brings a minimum of 10+ years of sales, marketing, and/or operations leadership success gained in a similarly complex, and high growth agribusiness. 5+ years of Agricultural Input Sales Management experience. Seed Sales experience preferred. Bachelors degree preferred, advanced degree highly preferred Location is negotiable Preference to be located within the primary production agriculture geography of Texas or Kansas. Need access to major airport. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and sales skills Analytical skills to evaluate data and use it to make decisions.
