Safely operate Eicher heavy trucks or light/medium duty commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials over designated routes.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all applicable traffic laws, weight limits, and transportation regulations
Pre-trip & Post-trip Inspections:
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report potential mechanical or safety issues, and perform basic preventive maintenance as needed.
Cargo Management:
Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, coordinating with warehouse staff as required.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, repairs, and delivery logs using logbooks or electronic systems.
Route Planning:
Utilize GPS and navigational software to plan the most efficient routes and meet delivery schedules.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and clients, reporting any delays, accidents, or incidents promptly.
