Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Duty Commercial Driver to operate company vehicles for transporting goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate must have strong driving skills, knowledge of road safety regulations, and the ability to handle heavy commercial vehicles in all conditions.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Responsibilities

Operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles (trucks/lorries) for loading and unloading goods. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Ensure timely delivery of materials to assigned destinations. Monitor fuel consumption and maintain fuel logs. Follow all traffic rules, safety guidelines, and company policies. Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle. Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately to the supervisor.

Weekly Responsibilities

Submit weekly trip sheets, fuel reports, and delivery logs. Coordinate with the logistics/dispatch team for route planning. Check vehicle condition (tyres, brakes, lights, coolant, engine oil). Assist in basic maintenance checks as required.

Monthly Responsibilities

Ensure vehicle is presented for scheduled maintenance and service. Attend monthly safety and compliance meetings. Participate in training programs for safe driving and skill improvement. Support inventory movement operations as instructed.

Skills & Qualifications

Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV/Commercial License). Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in heavy-duty vehicle driving. Strong knowledge of road signs, traffic rules, and transport regulations. Ability to drive long distances and handle stress. Good physical fitness and alertness. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance & troubleshooting. Ability to maintain logs and documentation accurately.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or night shifts if required. High level of responsibility, discipline, and punctuality. Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
