KD Singh Balika Degree College is seeking a qualified and passionate individual to join our faculty team as a Commerce Lecturer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in commerce, along with a commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement. - Delivering lectures and conducting tutorials in various topics related to commerce, including but not limited to accounting, economics, business studies, finance, and marketing.
- Developing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes and engagement.
- Designing course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with the curriculum objectives and academic standards.
- Providing academic guidance and support to students, including mentoring and advising on academic and career matters.
- Evaluating student performance through assignments, examinations, and other assessment methods, and providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Participating in curriculum development, program assessment, and other academic initiatives as required.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning within the commerce department and across the institution.
- Staying updated with current trends, research, and developments in the field of commerce, and integrating relevant information into teaching practices.
- Contributing to the academic community through research activities, publications, presentations, and participation in professional development opportunities.
- Performing administrative tasks related to academic management, such as maintaining records, attending meetings, and fulfilling other duties as assigned by the department or college administration.
- A master\'s degree or higher qualification in commerce or a related field from a recognized institution. A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, preferably in a higher education institution.
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in one or more areas of commerce, demonstrated through academic qualifications, research, and professional experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning, academic integrity, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Proficiency in educational technology and online teaching platforms is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the academic and professional development of colleagues.
