Job Summary
Banerjee Bajaj is looking for a proactive and result-oriented
Command Area Manager (CAM)
to manage and develop the
Sub-Dealer network
in the assigned command area. The role focuses on driving sales volume, strengthening market penetration, ensuring sub-dealer performance, and maintaining Bajaj brand and process compliance across the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sub-Dealer Management
Appoint, develop, and manage Sub-Dealers within the assigned command area.
Ensure sub-dealers achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Provide regular guidance, training, and support to improve sub-dealer performance.
Sales & Market Development
Drive retail and wholesale sales through sub-dealer channels.
Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and rural/urban expansion areas.
Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategies to improve market share.
Operations & Compliance
Ensure sub-dealers follow Bajaj Auto processes, pricing, branding, and documentation norms.
Monitor stock availability, billing, deliveries, and payment collections.
Ensure proper display, visibility, and branding at sub-dealer outlets.
Customer Experience & Issue Resolution
Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction at sub-dealer points.
Handle escalated customer or sub-dealer issues and ensure timely resolution.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare and submit regular MIS reports on sales, stock, market feedback, and sub-dealer performance.
Coordinate with Sales Manager, Accounts, Logistics, and OEM representatives for smooth operations.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong field sales and channel management skills.
Ability to build and manage dealer / sub-dealer relationships.
Good market knowledge of the assigned territory.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the command area.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience
in automobile sales, preferably in channel or territory management.
Two-wheeler dealership experience will be an added advantage.
