Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals as per recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times
Support the Chef de Partie and other senior chefs with daily kitchen operations
Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and measuring ingredients
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or needs to the supervisor
Contribute to maintaining a smooth workflow during service hours
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role preferred
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation, and safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Education:
Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage
