About the Role

This role is responsible for managing collections activities in the country / business by providing local and global Collections Management Information. Effectively supports and collaborate with the Sales organization on all credit related matters. Ensure effective and efficient operational management \xe2\x80\x93 striving for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Having good rapport with others on the team and across teams. Works effectively with others to get work done. Handles difficult situations, minimizing conflict. Treats all individuals with respect.

\xc2\xb7 Having experience setting SMART stretching goals for self, individuals and team. Ensures stretch goals link through to strategic priorities. Builds confidence and commitment in individuals to achieve goals. Helps individuals stay focused on priority goals. Sets high standards for performance on stretch goals. Communicates high expectations for performance and confidence in the team.

\xc2\xb7 Listening and questioning skills to effectively understand another person\xe2\x80\x99s needs. Coaches others on a regular basis. Gives timely, specific and appropriate feedback about development needs. Provides reinforcements on efforts and progress. Advocates for individuals with able performance and potential within the organization. Encourages team members to take personal ownership and responsibility for their own development."

\xc2\xb7 Providing clear instructions and directions to others. Can both effectively listen to and effectively question to understand another\xe2\x80\x99s viewpoint. Helps others understand situations by communicating business context.

\xc2\xb7 Addressing unexpected situations. Positive in acting and removing obstacles to action.
Can be counted on to follow through on actions. Encourages others to take their own initiative when faced with a problem. Provides appropriate amount of information, resources and support without undermining the individual\xe2\x80\x99s full ownership of objectives and their success.

\xc2\xb7 Having good understanding and applying change management methodology to change initiatives.
Looks for ways to improve own work processes. Plans to prepare for changes that may affect the business or team. Maintains a positive outlook in the face of a changing environment. Can clarify how changes affect individual, team and wider division. Effectively seeks out ways to continually improve team activities.

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Experience in (B.COM, Finance) with full/part accountancy qualifications.

\xc2\xb7 Three to Five years experience in collections management.

\xc2\xb7 Have a focused team leader, with excellent communication skills and able drive.

\xc2\xb7 Able to work under tight time pressure, still maintaining high standards and not only personally but also within the team.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in encouraging and supporting team members in their personal development and positively engaging with others to improve business processes.
