Collection Executive

Job Purpose:

To ensure timely recovery of loan EMIs, overdue amounts, and bad debts from customers while maintaining good customer relations and adhering to company policies and legal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Collection Activities

Follow up with customers for overdue payments through calls, visits, and reminders. Ensure recovery of EMIs and dues within stipulated timelines. Identify and report defaulters and take appropriate recovery actions as per company policy. Maintain records of collection efforts and payment statuses.

Customer Interaction

Communicate courteously and professionally with customers regarding their payment obligations. Negotiate repayment plans or settlements when necessary. Address customer queries and provide guidance on payment modes and schedules.

Documentation and Reporting

Update collection reports and MIS on a daily basis. Maintain proper documentation of payments collected, receipts issued, and follow-up records. Submit periodic reports to the Branch/Collection Manager.

Field Visits

Conduct field visits to customers' residences or business premises for overdue collection. Verify customer details and update contact information as required. Coordinate with the recovery team for repossession in case of loan defaults (for vehicle or asset-based loans).

Compliance

Ensure adherence to company collection policies and regulatory compliance. Follow ethical practices and maintain confidentiality of customer information. Avoid use of any coercive or unlawful means during recovery.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong communication and negotiation skills Basic knowledge of finance and loan recovery processes Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets Willingness to travel extensively

Educational Qualification:

Minimum: 10+2 or Graduate in any discipline

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in loan collections, preferably in NBFC or banking sector

Work Location:

Branch / Field-based (depending on the operational area)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
