Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Collection Manager to join our team at IDFC FIRST Bank. As the Collection Manager-Used Cars, you will be responsible for managing the collections process for our used car loans portfolio in Jaipur, Rajasthan. You will be a key member of the Retail Banking department and will report to the Head of Debt Management-Flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies for the used car loans portfolio
- Monitor and track delinquent accounts and take necessary actions to recover dues
- Manage a team of collection agents and ensure their productivity and performance targets are met
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers, and other stakeholders in the used car market
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the used car segment
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience
- Prepare and present reports on collection performance to the management team
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in Finance or Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in collections, with at least 2 years in the used car segment
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding collection targets
- Strong understanding of the used car market and its dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a team and drive results
- Proficiency in local language (Rajasthani) is preferred
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
