Job Title: Collection Executive Overview: A Collection Executive is responsible for managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts owed to the company. They play a crucial role in maintaining positive cash flow and minimizing bad debt losses. Collection Executives interact with customers to negotiate payment plans, resolve billing discrepancies, and implement strategies to recover outstanding payments while maintaining positive relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities: 1. Monitor and manage overdue accounts receivable to ensure timely collection. 2. Contact customers via phone, email, or letters to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances. 3. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes promptly and effectively. 4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions. 5. Analyze delinquent accounts and develop strategies for effective debt recovery. 6. Recommend accounts for legal action or write-offs as necessary. 7. Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance departments to address customer issues and improve collection processes. 8. Prepare and present reports on collection activities, aging receivables, and bad debt reserves. 9. Keep abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to debt collection practices. 10. Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients to facilitate debt resolution and future business opportunities. Qualifications: 1. HSC, Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2. Proven experience in debt collection, accounts receivable management, or related financial services role. 3. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts effectively. 4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 5. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. 6. Familiarity with debt collection laws, regulations, and best practices. 7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 8. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry. 9. Strong organizational and time management skills. 10. Professional demeanor and customer-oriented approach.
