The Collection Executive is responsible for following up with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding dues. The role involves managing accounts receivables, maintaining positive customer relationships, reducing delinquency, and meeting monthly collection targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact customers via phone, email, to recover pending dues.
Explain billing details, payment terms, and resolve customer queries regarding outstanding amounts.
Negotiate repayment plans in line with company policies.
Ensure timely follow-up and escalation of high-risk accounts.
Maintain accurate records of collection activities and update CRM/ERP systems.
Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team for reconciliation of payments.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on collection status and delinquency.
Adhere to compliance, legal, and ethical standards while handling customer interactions.
Support in reducing NPA (Non-Performing Assets) or overdue accounts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (Commerce/Business Administration preferred) or equivalent.
Prior experience in collections, recovery, or customer service (Banking/NBFC/EdTech/Telecom preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve monthly targets.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
Familiarity with legal aspects of debt collection will be an advantage.
