Job Description

Government Client Follow-up:

Regularly follow up with government departments for payment status through official channels, phone calls, emails, and in-person visits if required.

Documentation & Submission:

Ensure proper submission of invoices, supporting documents, and compliance papers as per government requirements.

Payment Tracking:

Monitor payment release status, update management on expected timelines, and maintain a clear record of pending amounts.

Liaison with Departments:

Build professional relationships with key officials to ensure smooth communication and faster processing of dues.

Escalation & Coordination:

Escalate critical payment delays to senior management and coordinate with internal accounts and project teams for any clarifications.

Compliance & Record-Keeping:

Maintain all correspondence, acknowledgments, challans, and receipts for audit and statutory compliance.

Reporting:

Prepare and share detailed collection reports on a weekly/monthly basis, highlighting delays and action plans.

Site Visits (if required):

Travel to department offices when necessary to resolve payment issues, collect documents, or expedite approvals.
