Role Overview
The Collection Executive is responsible for timely collection of outstanding payments
from clients, maintaining accurate receivable records, and coordinating with internal
teams to ensure smooth cash flow and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
? Follow up with customers for outstanding payments via calls, emails, and visits
(if required).
? Ensure timely collection of receivables as per agreed credit terms.
? Maintain and update collection records, customer ledgers, and ageing reports.
? Coordinate with sales, accounts, and operations teams to resolve billing or
payment discrepancies.
? Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection status reports.
? Escalate long-pending or high-risk accounts to management.
? Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal credit and
collection policies.
? Support audits by providing required collection-related documentation.
Required Skills s Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in commerce, Finance, or related field.
? 1-3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or finance
operations.
? Good communication and negotiation skills.
? Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
? Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.
Preferred Skills
? Experience in IT / Technology industry collections.
? Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and payment cycles.
? Field collection experience (if applicable)
