The Collection Executive will play a vital role in managing and recovering outstanding debts from our B2B2C loan portfolio. This position requires a results-oriented professional with strong communication and negotiation skills who can effectively manage customer relationships while ensuring the timely collection of dues. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, maintaining detailed documentation, and consistently achieving monthly collection targets in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Job Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
Handle collections for a B2B2C loan portfolio with professionalism and efficiency.
Customer Follow-up:
Follow up with customers for overdue payments via calls and emails using appropriate and compliant communication methods.
Query Resolution:
Negotiate and resolve customer queries while ensuring timely collection of dues through effective problem-solving.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain daily reports of follow-ups, commitments received, and payments collected with accuracy and attention to detail.
Escalation Management:
Coordinate with internal teams for escalated cases and provide effective resolution to complex issues.
Minimum 1 year in collections (B2B/B2C/NBFC/Banking preferred).
Proven track record in managing collection portfolios.
Experience with overdue payment follow-up and recovery processes.
Communication Skills
Strong verbal communication in English and Hindi (mandatory).
Strong written communication skills for documentation and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
Clear and professional communication approach.
Technical & Professional Skills
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
Strong problem-solving attitude with creative solution development.
Proficiency with MS Office and basic collection software/CRM systems.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Monthly Collection Target Achievement: Percentage of assigned collection target achieved.
Collection Amount: Total amount recovered in a given period.
Follow-up Frequency: Number and quality of customer follow-ups conducted.
Payment Commitment Rate: Percentage of customers who commit to payment upon contact.
Resolution Time: Average time to resolve customer queries and collect dues.
Report Accuracy: Quality and timeliness of daily follow-up and payment reports.
Customer Retention: Maintaining customer relationships while recovering outstanding amounts.
