Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Collection Executive
with a strong background in f
irst-party and third-party
US healthcare collections
. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proven expertise in patient and payer collections, and the ability to drive revenue recovery while maintaining compliance and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end collections for assigned US healthcare accounts (patients & payers).
Handle both first-party (provider-patient) and third-party (insurance/payer) collections.
Follow up on outstanding balances, unpaid claims, and denials with tact and professionalism.
Engage with patients via phone/email to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve billing issues.
Collaborate with internal teams (A/R, billing, coding, denial management) for account resolution.
Maintain accurate and detailed notes of all interactions in the system.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDCPA, and US healthcare laws.
Meet and exceed monthly collection targets and performance KPIs.
Provide feedback on recurring denial/payment trends for process improvement.
Familiarity with RCM processes - billing, coding, payment posting, denials, and A/R follow-up.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Strong negotiation and patient engagement abilities.
Proficient in MS Office, healthcare collection tools/portals, and EMR/EHR systems.
Analytical mindset to identify payer/denial trends.
Ability to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment. ? Flexible for US shift timings (Night Shifts - EST/PST support).
