What You Will Do:

- Leading corporate legal, investment deals, and corporate compliance vertical.

- Leading fintech and securities-tech regulatory affairs.

- Collaboration with the law enforcement and litigation team to prepare and respond to any enforcement and litigation matters.

- Providing general leadership and guidance to the legal team members.

- Monitoring and interpreting latest developments in fintech, crypto, securities and related industries, including new regulations and laws.

- Participating in internal discussions and decision-making processes regarding business strategy and risk management.

- Providing guidance on corporate governance and securities law matters.

What You Should Have:

- 15 + years of post-qualification experience

- A mix of in-house and law firms will be preferred.

- LL.B. from a Tier 1 college / university.

- Deep fintech and securities-tech experience is a must

- Good leadership and mentorship skills, as this role is expected to lead about 2-3 mid experienced legal professionals.

- Shall be able to demonstrate the following organizational skills:

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and to tolerate change and ambiguity. Embrace risks.

- Comfortable with interpreting and applying the law in unsettled contexts.

- Confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice, exercise good business judgment, and work well with senior management and cross functional stakeholders effectively and proactively

- Creative thinking with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under challenging circumstances.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to work both in teams and independently
