Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced

Cognos Administrator

to manage, maintain, and optimize Cognos environments for our enterprise client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Cognos Administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and security management.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

Cognos server administration

, including installation, configuration, and upgrades. Manage

user access, security policies, and roles

within Cognos. Monitor and troubleshoot

Cognos BI services

, ensuring high availability and performance. Perform

environment health checks, backups, and disaster recovery planning

. Deploy and maintain Cognos reports, packages, and content store management. Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues. Ensure adherence to

best practices and compliance

with organizational standards.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

Cognos Administration

- End-to-end admin experience (installation, configuration, security, troubleshooting).

Server & Environment Management

- Performance tuning, monitoring, and maintenance.

Security & Access Management

- Managing roles, authentication, and authorization.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of

Cognos Analytics (11.x)

. Familiarity with

Linux/Windows servers

and scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell). Experience integrating Cognos with

data warehouses or BI tools

. Exposure to

migration or upgrade projects

Job Types: Permanent, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
