About Hill Queen Tea
At Hill Queen Tea, were reviving Indias proud tea heritage. With roots dating back to 1962, we craft 100% natural, small-batch Himalayan teas for the modern palate. From Darjeeling to Assam, our brews are bold, authentic, and premium.
We recently began our online journey and are already present on Amazon and our own D2C platform, with rapid expansion underway across Flipkart, Blinkit, and Q-commerce platforms.
Were now seeking a co-founder with deep domain expertise who is ambitious, intuitive, and hands-on, ready to drive growth, scale operations, and own the next phase of our journey.
Who Were Looking For
Youre an operator at heart with:

• 6+ years in the tea or beverage industry (non-negotiable)
• Strong command of GT/MT sales, distribution, and procurement
• A strong network of industry contacts and an insiders grasp of how tea moves across India
• A proven ability to scale operations and build revenue pipelines
• An eye for detail + a passion for process and product
• A strategic mindset, but can roll up your sleeves and execute daily
• Ready to invest and take equity youre not joining a job, youre building a legacy
• Education from a Tier-1 B-School or Global Grad School

What You'll Lead

• GT/MT Expansion: Build and scale general trade and modern trade presence across key cities
• Offline Revenue Growth: Drive sales, onboard retail partners, and expand offline footprint
• Operational Execution: Ensure smooth backend from production to delivery

What You'll Co-Own

• Product & Category Launches: Co-create and launch new tea & wellness SKUs
• Procurement Strategy: Strengthen our sourcing and supply chain from estates to packaging
• Strategic Partnerships: Build B2B, institutional, and marketplace relationships

Ideal Background

• Worked at/with: Tata Tea, Chaayos, TeaBox, Vahdam, Pahadi Story, Paper Boat, or other FMCG/Tea brands
• Deep understanding of Indian tea drinkers and what moves the market
• Are results-driven, can think like a founder, and thrive in high-ownership environments
• Ability to co-pilot with the existing founder who already leads D2C, marketplaces, packaging, ads & branding
• Past experience building from scratch or scaling early-stage brands
• Bonus: Flair for innovation, taste, and storytelling in the beverage space
