Are you ready to help us make the future We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete software delivery life cycle. They have to work with the Agile Release Train teams from the planning phase to the deployment phase through the development and testing phases. He or she will coordinate with different stakeholders for requirements, testing, and release calendar of necessary components and platforms. He or she will ensure a synchronous running of day-to-day processes, plan with several software development teams, and ensure the successful deployment of code. YOU MUST HAVE Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business/MIS, Software Engineering or related field WE VALUE The Release Manager role in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing releases across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and coordinating with stakeholders from the business and technical teams. The key responsibilities of a Release Manager in SAFe: Release Planning: The Release Manager works with the Product Management team to understand the features and functionality that need to be included in the release. They then work with the ARTs to plan the release timeline and coordinate the delivery of the features. Release Coordination: The Release Manager coordinates the release activities across all ARTs, including the creation of the release plan, the management of dependencies, and the communication of status to stakeholders. Risk Management: The Release Manager identifies and manages risks related to the release, including the impact of changes to the release schedule, dependencies, and defects. Quality Assurance: The Release Manager works with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the release meets the necessary quality standards and that all testing is completed before the release. Communication: The Release Manager communicates the status of the release to stakeholders, including business owners, customers, and development teams, to ensure that everyone is aware of the progress of the release. Continuous Improvement: The Release Manager continuously looks for ways to improve the release process, including the automation of release activities, the improvement of communication channels, and the identification of areas where the process can be streamlined. Overall, the Release Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that releases are planned, executed, and communicated effectively across multiple ARTs in the SAFe environment. They are responsible for managing risks, coordinating activities, and communicating progress to stakeholders, with the ultimate goal of delivering high-quality software releases to customers.
