We're looking for a curious, creative, and hands-on
Coding Intern
to support our dynamic MakerSpace sessions at Riverside School. You'll work closely with students (Grades 5-9) and the Beyond Box team to bring coding and technology projects to life--from simple games to smart sensors and interactive devices.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and facilitating coding-based projects during monthly Maker Days
Provide hands-on support to students learning Scratch, Arduino, MIT App Inventor, Python, and other platforms
Debug student code and help with logical problem-solving
Coordinate with the lead facilitator and technical experts to align projects with session goals
Maintain documentation and help create learning resources
You Are:
Proficient in basic programming (e.g., Scratch, Python, or Arduino)
Passionate about working with young learners
Eager to learn and adapt in a creative, project-based environment
Comfortable supporting a team and managing time independently
Bonus If You Have:
Experience with electronics, IoT, or 3D modeling
Prior experience facilitating or mentoring students
Portfolio of projects or GitHub/LinkedIn profile
