Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

CodeIgniter & WordPress Developer

to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building dynamic web applications using

CodeIgniter (PHP framework)

and creating/managing websites using

WordPress

. The role involves designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining web solutions that are scalable, secure, and performance-driven.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using

CodeIgniter

framework. Design, customize, and manage websites using

WordPress (themes, plugins, and custom development)

. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented

PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL

code. Create REST APIs and integrate third-party APIs into applications. Implement responsive UI/UX designs for cross-browser and mobile compatibility. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing projects. Optimize websites/applications for

speed, performance, and SEO best practices

. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Maintain version control using Git/GitHub/Bitbucket. Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and security best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a

PHP Developer

with strong exposure to

CodeIgniter

framework. Strong expertise in

WordPress theme & plugin development, customization, and troubleshooting

. Proficiency in

PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX

. Experience with

REST API development and integrations

. Familiarity with

cPanel, hosting environments, and database management

. Knowledge of

Git/version control

workflows. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Knowledge of

Laravel

or other PHP frameworks. Experience with

WooCommerce

(WordPress eCommerce plugin). Understanding of

cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP)

and deployment practices. Familiarity with

front-end frameworks

like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS. Basic understanding of

security best practices (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF prevention, etc.)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
