Key Responsibilities:
Program Development:
Design, implement, and monitor a diverse portfolio of co-curricular activities that align with students' interests and promote essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and creativity.
Event Management:
Plan and oversee school events, festivals, inter-house and inter-school competitions, field trips, and celebrations, ensuring smooth execution from concept to completion.
Logistics and Scheduling:
Develop and maintain activity schedules; manage resources and budgets effectively; coordinate with the school office on related logistics, including vendor management and fee collection where applicable.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with teachers, students, parents, and external partners to ensure participation, engagement, and smooth coordination across programs.
Student Support:
Create opportunities for students to showcase their talents through performances, exhibitions, and competitions; guide student leaders in organizing and managing events to foster ownership and leadership.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Track participation and performance in activities, maintain records, and prepare periodic reports on program outcomes and student involvement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with academic and administrative teams to integrate co-curricular activities with the overall school ethos and academic calendar.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education (
B.Ed. mandatory
)
Degree or formal training in any
co-curricular discipline
(such as Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Sports, or similar) is desirable.
Experience:
Minimum
5 years of experience
as a
Co-Curricular Activities Coordinator
or in a similar leadership role.
Prior experience
teaching or mentoring
in at least one co-curricular area (e.g., Art, Music, Dance, Sports, Theatre, etc.) is essential.
Skills:
Strong organisational and event management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire students.
