Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise day-to-day activities in the solar dry yard.

2. Ensure proper spreading, drying, and turning of coco peat to achieve required moisture levels.

3. Monitor weather conditions and take preventive measures to protect material during rain or high humidity.

4. Check and maintain product quality parameters (moisture %, EC, pH) during and after drying.

5. Manage yard manpower - allocate tasks, monitor work efficiency, and maintain discipline.

6. Ensure timely collection, bundling, and transfer of dried coco peat to storage or processing units.

7. Maintain records of drying schedules, yard capacity utilization, and daily output.

8. Ensure proper use and maintenance of drying yard tools, tarpaulins, and equipment.

9. Implement safety measures and ensure cleanliness/housekeeping in the yard area.

10. Coordinate with production/quality teams for raw material input and finished product movement.

11. Report daily performance, challenges, and weather-related issues to the Production/Plant Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Any Degree / Diploma (Agriculture, Production, or related field preferred).

2. 2-4 years of experience in coco peat/agro-processing industry (yard or production supervision).

3. Good knowledge of coco peat properties (moisture content, EC, pH).

4. Strong leadership and team management skills.

5. Ability to handle labor workforce and maintain discipline.

6. Practical knowledge of yard operations, drying methods, and quality monitoring.

7. Basic computer/MS Office skills for reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
