Job Description

Set up and operate lacquering equipment, including spray guns, dip tanks, or automated coating machines. Prepare surfaces for lacquering by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers or base coats as needed. Apply lacquer or coating to surfaces using appropriate techniques, such as spraying, dipping, or brushing. Ensure even and consistent application of lacquer or coating to achieve desired finishes. Monitor and adjust lacquering equipment settings, such as pressure, flow rate, or drying temperature, to achieve optimal results. Inspect finished products for defects, imperfections, or inconsistencies in the lacquer or coating application. Make necessary adjustments or reapply lacquer to correct any issues and ensure high-quality finishes. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and others from hazardous materials and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper storage and disposal of lacquering materials.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize work orders, meet production targets, and ensure timely completion of projects.

Familiarity with different types of lacquers, coatings, and their applications. Understanding of surface preparation methods, such as cleaning, sanding, or priming. Ability to operate and maintain lacquering equipment, including spray guns, dip tanks, or automated coating machines. Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects or imperfections in the lacquer or coating application. Strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise application techniques. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
