Set up, operate, and adjust CO welding machines (GMAW with CO shielding gas) to weld sheet metal parts and structures as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Indeed, Select appropriate welding parameters (voltage, wire speed, gas flow) for optimal weld quality.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
Metal cutting, grinding & finishing
Ability to read engineering drawings & weld symbols
Fit-up and fabrication knowledge
Basic measurement tools (Vernier, tape, gauges)
Understanding welding defects and quality checks
Knowledge of different metals (MS, SS, alloys)
The ability to meet deadlines.
Time managements skills.
Good communication and team work abilities.
The ability to operate individually with minimal supervision.
