Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Weld metal parts using the CO2 (MIG) welding process based on technical specifications and blueprints. Prepare and set up welding equipment, ensuring the correct wire and gas are used. Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements. Operate welding equipment safely and effectively to produce strong, clean welds. Perform weld tests and inspections to ensure the integrity of the welds. Repair damaged parts by re-welding or reinforcing the material. Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing protective gear such as gloves, helmets, and safety glasses. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure equipment is regularly checked and maintained.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CO2 Welder or similar role. Strong proficiency in CO2 welding (MIG) techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols. Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality. Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Good physical fitness and manual dexterity. Knowledge of safety procedures in a welding environment. [Optional: Certification in welding, such as AWS or equivalent.]
