Qualification:

Minimum Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Duties & Responsibilities-

Operation - Start, stop, and operate CNG booster as per defined SOP.

Monitor operating parameters such as suction/discharge pressure, temperature, oil level, and vibration.

Monitoring & Inspection - Carry out hourly equipment readings and log records.

- Observe for abnormal sound, leakage (gas, oil, water), or vibration and report immediately.

- Ensure all safety interlocks, pressure gauges, and temperature indicators are functional.

Maintenance Support - Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

- Clean filters, strainers, and cooling system as per schedule.

- Report part failure or abnormal condition to the maintenance team.

- Support in oil top-up, drain, and minor tightening works.

Safety & Compliance - Follow all safety procedures during operation.

- Use proper PPE kit at all times.

- Ensure no unauthorized person enters the compressor area.

- Report near-miss or unsafe acts immediately.

- Follow gas venting and shutdown procedure safely.

Reporting & Documentation - Maintain daily operation logbook.

- Record all observations, breakdowns, and actions taken.

- Get signature of site in-charge/client after complaint or maintenance work.

- Report shift handover properly.

Housekeeping - Maintain booster area clean and free from oil/gas leakage.

- Keep tools and accessories properly arranged.

- Ensure all lights, fans, and earthing are in working condition.
